Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is an artificial tub filled with sweet water and chlorine. It is aimed for swimming, for watersports and have aesthetics purpose. Modern pools can have salt water and don't need chlorine. A swimming pool should have different shapes, can be inground or not. It could be built with different materials: cement, aluminium, wood, steel and be covered with ceramics or painted with a particular vernice. There are also fiberglass pools. An pool in the garden is more common than a closed pool under a porch. It is used during summer mostly from people who don't like the beach or are too far from the coast.

A pool needs to be cleaned continuously in order to avoid proliferation of fungi and algae. A pool is considered a luxury feature and increases the value of a property.
